Our rustic Eco-Lodge is part of our 200 hectare family farm and located directly on the river shore of beautiful Rio San Juan. Only 34 km from San Carlos you can enjoy the peacefulness of the Nicaraguan land life, far away from stress and noise of the city.

Besides of accommodation and food we offer a broad variety of activities such as kayaking, fishing, horseback riding or a cacao-tour from which you will bring unique self-made chocolate. Or you could just relax in a hammock.

This place is also a great base to go and visit El Castillo. You can leave your car safely on our parking lot to enjoy the contemplative village with its famous castle and exiting history of gold and pirates.

Rustic cabins, food & fun

Comfortable Cabins

Take a rest in our rustic cabins. They offer space for 2 to 4 people and provide a private bathroom, comfortable beds and mosquito nets. On the outside you will find a cosy place to sit and relax in a hammock.

Restaurant & Bar

Refresh with an ice-cold drink or a wake-up coffee at our outdoor restaurant and enjoy our tasty local food. On reservation we also provide food for groups.

Unique activities

Nicaraguan land-life has a lot to offer. Among the different activities are kayaking, horseback riding, artisanal fishing or a chocolate farm tour.

River access

Enjoy Rio San Juan to the fullest. Walking, swimming, kayaking or by boat you will discover the rich flora and fauna with monkeys, caimans and a huge variety of birds.

Milking cows

If you are an early riser, go and help milking the cows. Or just watch the adorable calves.

Cacao tour

Visit a nearby organic cacao farm and learn about cultivation and history of cacao. You will make your own chocolate, too.

Horseback riding

Explore a nearby finca on horseback and enjoy a great view on the San Juan River. Recommended for sunset!

Visit El Castillo & Indio Maíz Reserve

By boat you quickly get to the relaxing village of "El Castillo". Visit the ancient castle or explore the Indio Maíz Reserve with an experienced guide.
